There are six constant mitzvos that are relevant at all times and in all places. Not a moment in our lives should pass without fulfilling these six mitzvos. They are: 1) the mitzvah of believing in Hashem; 2) not to believe in another G-d besides Him; 3) the mitzvah of believing in the Unity of Hashem; 4) the mitzvah of loving Hashem; 5) the mitzvah of fearing Hashem; and 6) not to stray after our thoughts and our eyes. These mitzvos apply to all men, women, and children. a In order to fulfill these mitzvos, we have to learn about the greatness of Hashem. The Rambam writes that the way to come to feel love for Hashem and experience awe of Him is by studying and contemplating the greatness of Hashem, and setting aside time to think about His Wisdom. All of these concepts are explored and expounded upon in Chassidic teachings. This is one of the reasons why women should also study the Torah of Chassidus, relevant to their level of understanding, in order to be able to fulfill these six fundamental mitzvos.
