80. A Kosher Mikvah
The general principle that Roiv Metzuyim Etzel Mikvaois Mumchim Heim, that most people who deal with Mikvahs are considered experts and know what they are doing, is very hard to apply nowadays. It is only applicable in a case where one knows that the individual in charge of the Mikvah does everything al pi Chochom, according to the instruction of someone who is an expert in the rules of Mikvaois. In order to ensure that the Mikvah one is using is fine, aside from checking for potential Hiddurim, making sure the Mikvah has extra advantages which would render it Kosher according to Halacha leMehadrin, one should first verify that it is properly supervised, or that the individual running it does everything according to the instruction of an expert in Mikvaois. This applies to a Keilim Mikvah, a Mikvah used to immerse utensils, and certainly to a Mikvah for women
