Does Halacha let you speed?

When driving, one must follow all state and federal laws. Aside from the issue of following the law, it is important to ensure that one does not endanger the society around them and also not injure themselves, chas veSholom. A person who is driving recklessly, not following the speed limit and endangering society around them, is considered a Roidef. According to Halocho, one not only may, but must inform the government about such behavior after the person has received a proper warning.
